Like building a house, what comes first lays the foundations for what happens later on. Learning at this age occurs through their everyday routines. This is why our educators see routines as opportunities to introduce experiences that will help infants learn.
Nappy changing, feeding, cuddling, waking up and going to sleep times are opportunities for moving, communicating, understanding surroundings and forming relationships with other people.
We see our Nursery as a child’s first steps not only into the world but also into learning. In this age set, our educators use their authentic relationships with the children to help them develop feelings of safety, security, and belonging.

If you’re breastfeeding your baby, you are welcome to join us during feeding times to nurse your child. Babies spend their first year learning to feel loved and secure.
We will never leave a baby or child alone with a bottle. Our people also nurse babies during feeding to provide appropriate opportunities for positive interactions.
In the nursery, our educators pride themselves in knowing all the children on a personal level. Our people use this knowledge to plan engaging, hands-on, and exploratory experiences that follow children’s interests.
