At Little Scribblers, our early years program adopts the principle that children are natural learners who develop at their own pace. Our early learning program is flexible, individual, and engaging.
Nursery
6 weeks - 2 years
Infants develop best when they have a trusted educator. Each child receives oodles of individual attention and loving care. We create experience-filled opportunities. Our trained educators nurture babies to provide strong foundations for ongoing learning.
At Little Scribblers Early Learning Centres we know how important it is for young babies and their families, that their home routine is replicated within our centres, so we encourage families work with us as we integrate these routines. We know that young children need to feel safe, and secure in order to grow.
Toddlers
2 - 3 years
Toddlers are full of energy and curiosity. It’s the perfect time for plenty of active play, indoors and out. We encourage toddlers to express themselves in different ways. We listen, as your child’s independence grows.
The Little Scribblers Toddler curriculum is based on the principals that 2-3 year olds are amazing learners, that we respect toddlers as equal human beings with rights, deserving of dignity and respect and the principle that it is our qualified educators who build sheltered and joint relationships for developing identity, connection to others; communication; learning and belonging.
Junior Pre-Schoolers
3 - 4 years
We commence early stages of our Pre-Kindergarten program from the age of 3 in preparation for Pre-School.
We understand the importance of starting the children off on the right foot for their life long learning journey. Developing early literacy and early numeracy skills are very important part of this first step. At Little Scribblers we ensure that we are fostering this skill by relating to pre-literacy and pre-numeracy concepts in our everyday learning environment through experimentation, hypothesising, enquiry and reasoning.
Pre-Kindy
4 - 5 years
These children have a limitless imagination. One minute they’re a taxi-driver. The next, they’re transforming into superheroes to save the world. We encourage their “be anything” attitude. They also develop advanced ways for learning as they get older.
The Pre-School program balances structure and free choice as well as quiet times. Two types of informal activity are used in the program – developmental play and project work. Developmental play consists of making available a variety of activities from which the children can choose to play.
Play Based Learning
Playtime is fun. It’s also educational. Your child will explore, discover, negotiate, take risks, create meaning and solve problems. Children learn so much through play. They also build essential foundations for developing literacy, numeracy and social skills.
While it may sound straightforward, play-based learning is an advanced form of natural enquiry. It requires an experienced educator who knows your child’s overall development, emerging strengths and interests.

Daycare Fitness Program
We have partnered with Soccajoeys to provide a fun and healthy Daycare Soccer Program. The Daycare Soccer Program Specially meets the requirements of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

EYLF Based Curriculum
At Little Scribblers, we base our educational program on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The Framework recognises that early childhood is a vital period in children’s learning and development. EYLF embodies the idea of ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’.
The EYLF defines the principles, practices and outcomes essential to every early learning program. From birth to five years of age, children receive high-quality learning experiences.

Meals and Nutrition
We provide a 6-week rotational menu. Kids Gourmet Foods prepares all our healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. We cater for food allergies, intolerances and cultural preferences.
Extra-Curricular Activities
From time-to-time, we organise excursions into our local community. It gives the children a sense of community spirit and new experiences. The centre also has special themed days and incursions. There’s no limit to our fun.
Kinderloop
Kinderloop is an environmentally friendly way of communication between educators and parents. We use Kinderloop to document observations and share updates, notices and pictures with parents. It’s a trusted and secure application.
Nappies, Wipes, Bedsheets, Sunscreen and More
At the end of the day, you don’t have to drive home with dirty sheets. We wash all linen on site. Little Scribblers also supply all wipes, sunscreen and nappies. Your child’s health, hygiene, cleanliness and safety are our number one priority. It also makes your life that little bit easier.

Little Scribblers is a Family Business, we're - Jackie and Silvia- sisters, in fact, we're Twins. WE LOVE working with children in a preschool setting, and are both passionate about children and their learning! Our story is quite interesting and what we believe is very similar to what every working parent believes, in quality care, where education is beyond imagination.
About twelve years ago Silvia needed to get back to work and was quite saddened and even dismayed as we visited local centres looking for the right place for her daughter. Initially, she was enrolled in a family centre that loved and cared for her very much, however, we soon had to move to a new house which meant we had to find a new centre.
The struggle repeated as we searched and searched for a centre that had that wow factor, we wanted a centre where education and learning were imperative. Eventually, we decided to take a risk, and open our own…we were able to offer an innovative, stimulating and refreshing approach to traditional childcare.
We were so excited to plant the seed of our very own brand new franchise of Little Scribblers. The funny thing is, by following our dream and taking a leap, we found life's calling - children and preschool services. Let us remind you that, first and foremost, we are PARENTS - just like you.
We very much enjoy owning our boutique styled franchise, we have a strong team, both our husbands are also involved in the family franchise, which helps make the strong team.

Frequently Asked Questions From Parents
I heard you were opening on Saturdays?
Cleary Road, Belmore will open from 8am to 5pm.
Do I need to provide my baby’s nappies?
No. We provide all linen, nappies and wipes.
My child will start school in a year. I’m worried s/he’s not ready. What can you do to help?
Our pre-kindergarten/school ready program encourages children to take a homework folder home on Mondays. A university qualified, early childhood teacher reviews completed homework and sends the parent feedback.
Do you provide breakfast?
We serve a nutritional breakfast if your child arrives before 8.30 am. The centre supplies all meals including fruit for snacks.
I’m eligible for the childcare subsidy. How do I claim that?
Complete all the questions on your enrolment form. The Department of Human Services will confirm your eligibility for the childcare subsidy.
Are all your staff qualified?
Our staff are appropriately trained, qualified and accredited by Department of Education and Training.
Will I be eligible for any subsidies or other financial assistance?
You can drop off your child any time from 6am in the morning, and we are flexible to allow you to pick up your child any time in the afternoon that suits you.
