An Individual Child-Centric Early Learning Program
Nursery
6 weeks - 2 years
Babies are born learners. Your child will receive extra attention to create new experiences. Our early learning educators help babies to learn about moving, communicating and their surroundings. As well, our nurseries are designed with theatrical stages. They have dress up and drama, block play areas and active spaces for in-room activities.
Toddlers
2 - 3 years
Watch out Mum. Watch out Dad. The busy life of your toddler sees your child becoming more independent. Our day care centre observes each child. With your support, we tailor an early learning program to suit their actions, abilities, strengths and challenges. This is their age of discovery.
Pre-kindy
4 - 5 years
A pirate one minute, a watch-changing alien superhero the next. There’s no limit to what these kids can be. During this age of imagination, your child’s world will expand. They’ll form wider friendship groups, test new ideas, and learn to negotiate with others. At Little Scribblers our tailored learning includes a Pre-Kindergarten and School Ready environment.
Learning with Play-Based Activities
Play-based activities develop children’s memory and language skills. Kid’s use play to explore, negotiate, analyse, take chances and make meaning. All these skills form the basis for numeracy, literacy and social development.
Our experienced educator’s work closely with your child to learn about their abilities, emerging strengths and interests. Play builds children’s confidence as they make their own decisions. Plus, it helps to relieve stress. Little Scribblers centres have purposefully built environments designed to promote play. As well, our educators plan out activities. They create a trusting and inclusive environment where your child feels safe and secure.

EYLF Based Curriculum
At Little Scribblers, we base our educational program on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The Framework recognises that early childhood is a vital period in children’s learning and development. EYLF embodies the idea of ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’.
The EYLF defines the principles, practices and outcomes essential to every early learning program. From birth to five years of age, children receive high-quality learning experiences.

Meet the Hearts and Minds Behind Little Scribblers Early Learning Centres

Silvia Mikhial

Jackie Daniels
Little Scribblers is a Family Business, we're - Jackie and Silvia- sisters, in fact, we're Twins. WE LOVE working with children in a preschool setting, and are both passionate about children and their learning! Our story is quite interesting and what we believe is very similar to what every working parent believes, in quality care, where education is beyond imagination.
About twelve years ago Silvia needed to get back to work and was quite saddened and even dismayed as we visited local centres looking for the right place for her daughter. Initially, she was enrolled in a family centre that loved and cared for her very much, however, we soon had to move to a new house which meant we had to find a new centre.
The struggle repeated as we searched and searched for a centre that had that wow factor, we wanted a centre where education and learning were imperative. Eventually, we decided to take a risk, and open our own…we were able to offer an innovative, stimulating and refreshing approach to traditional childcare.
We were so excited to plant the seed of our very own brand new franchise of Little Scribblers. The funny thing is, by following our dream and taking a leap, we found life's calling - children and preschool services. Let us remind you that, first and foremost, we are PARENTS - just like you.
We very much enjoy owning our boutique styled franchise, we have a strong team, both our husbands are also involved in the family franchise, which helps make the strong team.
I hope that after you decide to tour our program and enrol, that we will become partners in your child's education and daily care. At Little Scribblers Early Learning Centres, we LOVE what we do and accept nothing but the very best. Welcome to our School!
